2 Time-Savers And 1 Jason To Go, Please

A friend sent me these images of practical and novel…novelties. I’m a little skeptical whether I personally could use these things.

This dual-pour carafe, for example, at first glance seems to save time. However, because people around me always say funny things just as I’m pouring drinks, I think the spillage problem from my spazzy laughing would simply undo any time savings whatsoever (when you factor in the cleanup/cussing).

Now this beverage glass is interesting because I do tend to get nervous at parties, so this is pretty much what my glass looks like anyway as I clutch my drink. In that case, I guess it does save time and effort there.

But THIS – not a big fan of this umbrella design. I look enough like a dweeb when my cheapie $5 umbrella collapses outward and breaks apart in front of millions of downtowners. It’s the Bat Signal hovering over me. If a guy offered me shelter with him under this ridiculous umbrella, I’d have to decline. It’s not romantic, thank you. (Unless of course, it’s Jason Statham at the end of that handle.)

    1. I’d definitely spill, I am very clumsy – could you imagine red wine?
    2. How about as a gag gig where you swapped out the person’s regular glass with this one in between drinks?
    3. The Transporter guy doesn’t look like an umbrella guy to me.

Joe: That’s what my husband asked when I was talking in my sleep the other night. Jason Statham is the man I love who doesn’t even know I exist.

I’ve mentioned him several times in my older posts. Since it’s been awhile, I wanted to (ahem) insert him in this one.

CoolStuff: 1. Red Wine double spillage – aarrgh!
    2. Excellent idea! Oh that would be a great Candid Camera moment. Now I’ve got to get a set.
    3. Never ruin a girl’s fantasy. Jason can do it all!

Yes. It makes a big difference who is on the other end of the handle. Kiefer? Daniel Craig? Sawyer? I’m there.

I could probably use that glass. I’m not very comfortable at parties when I’m attempting to make small talk.

ReformingGeek: I also crush on Sawyer, but I feel weird having the hots for the same guy my daughters like. Creepy. They should just back off.

Grannyann: Jason Statham is a 37 yr-old English actor (I love all things UK) best known as The Transporter from the action movie by the same name. I get warm ‘n fuzzy typing this. He was also in The Italian Job and quite a few others that were admittedly just so-so.

I think he would make a great James Bond, but Daniel Craig (one of ReformingGeek’s crushes) has secured that honor already.

The other day an army female and I just happened to have had to park atleast a mile a way from our building. It was pouring rain and of course me being AF I’m allowed to carry an umbrella. Army is not allowed. But this didn’t stop her from saying “don’t mind if I do” and dashing under my umbrella. I wouldn’t have minded except that I hate talking to people I don’t know and I didn’t invite her.

The double umbrella would be like an invite. NO WAY!

Hi Betty: LOL. Yes – that’s right, it totally is an invite. God knows who’ll help themselves to a cozy little tete-a-tete with me under there.

    And thanks for stopping by!

I like Jason too – but for a whole different reason to you I suspect. I like him because of his cool ninja/tough guy moves, fast cars and fancy women. He’s my role model.

Chris: Yeah, I forgot the guy’s perspective. And of course, Jason does most of his own stunts and martial arts. He is a worthy role model indeed.
