I Got Tagged And I Didn’t Even Feel It

Joe from 70s-Child tagged me with The 6 Random Things Meme. Oh, and there are rules, so in the interest of The Meme Culture, I’ll follow The Rules just this one time:

  1. Link to the person who tagged you. (Done!)
  2. Post the rules on your blog. (Doing!)
  3. List 6 random things about yourself. (Getting there.)
  4. Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them. (What’s with the number 6? I’m beginning to think this is some satanic ritual.)
  5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog. (Of course, otherwise the Meme dies with Me.)
  6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up. (Yes – I will send out an unmistakeable signal.)

Okay, can we move on now? I have a weekend to enjoy, thank you.

  1. Really wanted a boob job, then I didn’t, then I did, now I don’t. I used my Boob Funds to vacation with Husband Jace in Bora Bora instead. Ironically, over there, you can go topless.
  2. Almost all my books are non-fiction. But I also collect pop-up books.
  3. Nearly everyone I meet I like alot, except maybe someone like Charles Manson, or someone who’s angry or mean. Then I HATE them. And I want them to die — so the world will be a better place. :D
  4. Dated Senator Dianne Feinstein’s nephew (by marriage) back in the day.
  5. One of my biggest fears is being eaten alive by an animal, be it a shark, a python, or an alligator. Or a giant spider as in the 1975 movie “The Giant Spider Invasion.”
  6. My dream is to own an upscale books/toys/games store when I retire.

Remember the outdoors game Freeze Tag? Well, I’m tagging the following people and they have to Freeze, stop everything they’re doing, and crank out the Meme. I hope they can come out and play today:

Curtis Tucker
Bartholomew Woods

Joe: Yep. Husband was very happy either way.

Betty: Thanks! I’ll be right over to your blog.

ReformingGeek: I like that. My fear must just be guilt from being such a carnivore. (Had baby back ribs for dinner.)

Okay! Mission accomplished. 6 random things written.

Why not do the book/game store now and not wait until you retire? Go for it!

    Chris: Thanks for playing!

That Sneaker Wearing Entrepreneurial (pause for a breath) Cartoonist Internet Guy: I saw it! You’re a good sport, just like GrannyAnn.

Thanks for the encouragement. It’s in the planning stage for sure. I’m hoping to retire in 4 years max.

I always liked pop-up books and used to be afraid of being eaten alive but I think I am over that now.

CoolStuff: I know, sometimes I wonder why I even ponder being eaten. That is, until I read in the paper how a ferry boat in the Philippines capsized and hundreds were lost, presumed to be eaten by sharks. And then there’s the occasional article about some guy found half-swallowed by his PET(!) python. And alligators, more common than people think.

(Don’t get me started on spiders. I know I won’t get eaten by one, but I know they’re after me.) :D
