Weekend Inspiration – Unleash Yourself!

This guy is my HERO! I found this video to get you inspired for that photo opportunity this weekend! (Just go along with it, the narration in the beginning is corny, but then again so am I.) I love where he’s jumping on the bed. I remember doing that alot as a kid. In fact, my son Ryan told me to put that on the list, but I didn’t want anyone breaking their bed. It’s sad that as adults, we have to be concerned about such practical things. Heheheh.

Look at it this way: if you don’t start doing the fun stuff today, you’re not likely to get more chances or be as physically able to do them as time goes by. Think about THAT! In fact, the ever-wise GrannyAnn posted about that very idea yesterday. Have I ever mentioned that GrannyAnn is one cool Grandma? She cracks me up with her witty comments here and also on other blogs. She totally goes with the flow.

And if that STILL doesn’t inspire you, then how about these two melodies to take you back to your childhood days.

That guy is a dude! Haha. Makes me want to hit the street right now with my ‘yet to be bought’ uni-cycle. Normal bike will have to do … might even do a ‘wheelie’ or two and get back to my fun younger days.

Inner child? Uh oh. I’m in trouble. That means I have to bring back my invisible friend and my pogo stic. Maybe I’ll play with the foxes I saw in my driveway. Afterall, there isn’t anything else to do around here. Many major events are being canceled.

    GrannyAnn cracks me up too!

Loved the Bugs Bunny songs. Those are still some of my favorite cartoons. I have many of them on DVD and I am starting to share them with my daughter.

We had tons of rain here over the last week and this weekend is supposed to be nice. My fun will be working out in the yard and probably mowing the lawn for the first time this spring. Exciting!

Hope you all have great weekends!

Chris: I have a uni-cycle. Still trying to learn how to ride it.

Otin: I still like to swing, but I don’t do that superman stunt on my stomach anymore. Wouldn’t want to eat the ground.

Jim: Those little pocket bikes/mini-motorcycles look like a lot of fun. And just as noisy.

Lauren: Thanks for visiting! I saw your cute cat on your blog. You might like my (now gone) cat Bengal in his debut video.

ReformingGeek: Canceled? Because of weather or Swine Flu? And what’s with all the foxes being out? Is there a fox convention or did that get canceled too?

Old School: It’s a good excuse to re-live the old stuff with kids, and to see the new kids movies that come out too. Have fun with the yard work! Don’t hurt the old body. :D

I’m still planning my kid thing. (really I am, I am – hopefully this weekend we can get a picture if it quits raining.) I am so mad because that guy in the video did all my things so I can’t do mine or you’ll think I copied him.

You guys make me feel so special with all your nice comments. Glad you like my blog! Thanks for being my friends!!!!

Joe: And YOUR post was supposed to be uplifting, eh? :D So much for my inspiration this weekend. Life sucks. LOL.

It keeps telling me “an error occurred, try again later” maybe I’m not childish enough? I’m gonna go give the hubs a wedgie and then come back. Maybe that’ll do it.

  • 13 marissaNo Gravatar // May 2, 2009 at 7:55 am

Otin: Swing away! Which reminds me: Go Angels!!!

Bee: Hahah. You know all the I.T. tricks. Hope the wedgie fixed the problem. Just in case, here’s the link:

  • 15 marissaNo Gravatar // May 2, 2009 at 10:28 am

Hi Rich: LOL! That’s it – go with it!

Select Comfort bed, I am sooo jealous. I’d probably nap forever in one of those. My sleep number is 124 years (and I’ll STILL wake up young). Thanks for stopping by. :D

Just so you know, I’m going to finish tilling up our garden and then fill it with water. Me and the girls will jump in the mud. Their will be no pictures of us doing this. Since the person that would take the picture would ensure that there was a nipple slip. That would be my husband. He’s the same man who will jump into the bathroom and snap a shot of me while I’m taking the dump of my life.
