Humans, however, have to work so hard to keep up appearances to look cool. </p>
<p><a href="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/darius-rabbit.jpg"><img src="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/darius-rabbit.jpg" alt="" title="Darius Rabbit" width="275" height="206" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3176" style="float: right; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" /></a>No matter how much we exercise, primp, surgerize, and ham it up, we can&#8217;t one-up the cuteness of <a href="http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/36845356/">a 50 lb. rabbit named Darius.</a> By the way, according to his owner, Darius &#8220;is not <em>fat</em>. He&#8217;s just enormous.&#8221; Wouldn&#8217;t that be great if we could go around saying that about overweight people? Make &#8216;em feel better.</p>
<p><a href="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/caplin.jpg"><img src="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/caplin.jpg" alt="" title="caplin capybara" width="275" height="288" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3185" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; margin-left: 1em;" /></a><br />
Speaking of unusual size, next up is <a href="http://animal.discovery.com/videos/most-outrageous-caphlon.html">a 100 lb. rodent aptly named Caplin Rous</a> (a nod to the movie The Princess Bride). Caplin lives near Austin, Texas, and there&#8217;s actually a breeder that can hook you up with these guinea pig-like creatures. The official name for these real-life Zhu Zhu pets is &#8220;capybara.&#8221; But if you see one in person, you&#8217;d just call it a big-ass mouse.</p>
<p>The winning animal on my Cute List and also in the Funny Name category is the Blue Footed Booby.<br />
<a href="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/blue-footed-booby2.jpg"><img src="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/blue-footed-booby2.jpg" alt="" title="blue-footed-booby" width="225" height="338" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3197" /></a></p>
<p>This little guy is just rockin&#8217; those blue shoes! So damn adorable (and fashionable).</p>
<p>But a close runner-up is the Okapi. Mr. Zebra called and he wants his pants back.</p>
<p><a href="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/okapi.jpg"><img src="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/okapi.jpg" alt="" title="okapi" width="300" height="225" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3200" /></a></p>
<p>We can really learn alot from animals, such as relaxing, accepting our own quirkiness (and those of others) and just being ourselves.</p>
<p><strong><em>Which animals do you think look cool, act cool, or are just funky in general?</em></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/cool-tibetan-fox.jpg"><img src="http://whahappen.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/cool-tibetan-fox.jpg" alt="" title="very cool tibetan fox" width="381" height="411" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3225" /></a></p>
